CUSTOM SPC BRUSHLESS DC MOTOR
The development of the M Drive motor began with a custom stator, fully hand-wound for maximum copper content, using 99.9% pure copper windings, before being fully encapsulated and coupled to a market-leading thin-gap SPM rotor.
Each rotor is then covered with a patented magnetic retention cap before being dynamically balanced at both ends for smooth, vibration-free operation.
The final step was to ensure maintenance-free sealing for the drive shaft and power/data cables connecting the motor to the onboard computer and battery management system. The use of multiple inline shaft seals, custom patented cable seals, and high-precision shaft machining ensures not only a powerful and lightweight design but also an extremely reliable and low-maintenance motor for many years of use.
The M Drive motor design has been optimized for optimal hydrodynamic efficiency, enabling minimal drag and efficient water flow to the propeller.
